Bud Light Fan Camp Makes Stop in Houston to Provide Texans Fans a Taste of the NFL
Bud Light is bringing Texans fans a taste of NFL training camp when the Bud Light Fan Camp mobile experience arrives in Houston on Sunday, December 11.
Bud Light Fan Camp will be held at the Methodist Training Center/Texans Practice Bubble (8335 Lantern Point Drive) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, where teams of four (4) will be challenged to compete against each other in a variety of traditional and non-traditional NFL skills tests, each with a Bud Light twist. Fan Camp events include:
- Quick Kick: Kick footballs through inflatable uprights.
- Precision Pass : Try to hit passing targets.
- EA SPORTS Gaming Zone: Two four-person teams battle in an EA SPORTS Madden NFL 12 competition.
- Flag Frenzy: Try to gain the most points in a game of four-on-four flag football.
- Cannon Catch: Catch line drives and loft passes.
- Blue Route Relay: It’s a race against the clock to see which team will finish this football themed obstacle course first. Read more
Houston Texans Sign Agreement with LiveU to Provide Live Video Transmission Technology
LiveU has been selected by the NFL’s Houston Texans football team to provide its live video transmission technology.
The company’s newly enhanced LU60 3G/4G video transmission backpack will allow Texans fans to view live pre-game and post-game video on the franchise’s website while the team is at home and on the road, including ongoing activities and special events ranging from press conferences and team practices to charity lunches and cheerleader tryouts.
“We began testing LiveU’s technology during our 2010 training camp, providing fans unprecedented access to the team’s activities on and off the field throughout last season,” said Nick Schenck, Director of Integrated Media at the Houston Texans. ”We’re excited to continue to offer a behind-the-scenes look at all of the pre- and post-game action in 2011. LiveU enables us to transmit live video from anywhere without needing to obtain a data connection at each stadium, hotel, or special venue we travel to around the country.
