NFL Scores Week 3 results

NFL Scores and results week 3 will be complete after tonight’s game between the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears. As far as the other results go we’ve seen some surprises, like in week 2, but overall things started to settle.

Higher quality video will be available to NFL.com users through the Akamai HD Network

NFL.com and Akamai Technologies announced that NFL.com has implemented Akamai’s HD Network to enable broader availability of high-quality online video.  NFL.com will be utilizing the Akamai HD Network to assist in providing the best possible online video player experience for its fans.

This season, the majority of video content on NFL.com will be offered in higher quality and delivered across the Akamai HD Network, including NFL.com Live: Thursday Night Football offering live look-ins to NFL Network’s eight-game package, video highlights of every NFL game and coverage of other NFL events.  In addition, exclusive video contained within the new NFL Fantasy Football game will be offered in higher quality through Akamai’s HD Network.  The enhanced content will be made available in multiple bitrates up to 3.2 mbps.

2010 NFL Week 2 Scores: Winners, Losers and Surprises

NFL Week 2:  Scores and results are in and we can already see some surprises, as teams considered favorites by the experts didn’t deliver while the some underdogs made it to the top.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who annihilated the Panthers and the or the Houston Texans, who were able to win against favorites Washington Redskins are only two of these examples.

NFL Legend Joe Namath Joins SIRIUS NFL Radio

Iconic Hall of Fame quarterback will host “The Broadway Blitz with Joe Namath” Fridays on SIRIUS NFL Radio

SIRIUS XM Radio announced that NFL legend Joe Namath will host a weekly talk show on SIRIUS NFL Radio throughout the 2010 NFL season.

The Broadway Blitz with Joe Namath will debut Friday, September 17 (2:00-3:00 pm ET) and air every Friday on SIRIUS NFL Radio, available nationwide on SIRIUS channel 124 and XM channel 124 for subscribers with the “Best of SIRIUS” programming package. Namath and co-host Adam Schein will discuss the latest news from around the NFL, look ahead to the upcoming weekend’s matchups, and take calls from NFL fans around the country.

“It’s a real thrill for me to be joining SIRIUS NFL Radio and talking about the game I love with fans all over this country,” said Namath. “I’ve been involved with football a long time and I still get excited about every season like I did when I was lacing up my cleats as a kid in Pennsylvania. I’ve got a lot of wisdom from my time in the NFL and a lot of thoughts about today’s players and teams. It’ll be fun to share them with our listeners and I look forward to hearing what they think as well.”
